First a little about me.


I’m a husband, father, former chef, and veteran. During my years of service to the United States Army, I found myself stationed in Hawaii, which is a long way from the chicken and dumplings I grew up on in Hollysprings, Mississippi. It shouldn't surprise you that the culture and beauty of Hawaii pulled me in, and I decided to stay and make a difference.


As an executive chef, I noticed that something was missing - a good and clean kitchen every morning when I walked in so I could get to cooking. Instead, I would spend the first hour of my shift cleaning, so my kitchen was spotless and healthy.

Being a veteran and a former executive chef, it probably comes as no surprise that to me, cleanliness is next to Godliness.


And I wanted to fix this for other chefs and restaurants everywhere, so I started Green Thumbin’, which is first and foremost a restaurant cleaning service (though we’ve expanded to so much more than that).


That’s not all. You may be asking yourself why it’s called Green Thumb'in.


That’s because one thing Hawaii taught me was the importance of the environment and nature all around us that we seem to take for granted every day. So here at Green Thumbin’ we use only environmentally friendly cleaning products, but dont think it doesn’t do as great of a job, we searched high and low and found the most incredible, healthy, environmentally friendly cleaning products out there.


In addition to that, Green has another meaning for me personally. I’ve always taken it upon myself to take people under my wing and help them to grow, and as I’ve done many times in my business, I’ve taken people who are green (pardon the pun) and helped them to grow and become the best they could be, so when they move on to whatever it is they want to do in this life, they’re more prepared and ready than they would have been without working at Green Thumbin.
